Custom, tuned and American cars heading to Stone High Street for new event

A free custom cars event is coming to Stone High Street and Market Square on Saturday 26 September, between 10am and 2pm.

The display will feature custom, tuned, kit and American cars, offering visitors the chance to see vehicles not commonly seen on local roads.

Stone Town Council and the Stone Carnival Committee are organising the event following the success of the town's classic car gathering earlier in 2026.

Councillor Jill Hood, chairman of the council's Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee, said: "This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with unique cars that you would not normally come across on the roads!"

Road closure and visitor information

A road closure will be in place on Stone High Street from 7am until 4.30pm on 26 September. During this period, only vehicles taking part in the event will be permitted to access the High Street.

There is no admission charge. Visitors can attend at any time between 10am and 2pm.
