Staffordshire Police has issued 16 warnings to the registered keepers of vehicles identified at gatherings on the A34 near Stone on Sunday 26 July and Sunday 2 August 2026. The warnings were issued on Friday 14 August.
Police said the warnings are intended to remind vehicle owners of their responsibilities over the safe and lawful use of their vehicles.
Community Impact
Officers highlighted the impact vehicle meets can have on surrounding communities, including anti-social behaviour, noise nuisance and risks to public safety.
The action follows an earlier warning from Stafford Borough Police over increased reports of car meets, cruising and street racing around Stone, Tittensor and Trentham.

Staffordshire Police said: "We will continue to use all of the tactics available to tackle anti-social behaviour in our community."
Police have not said whether any further action has been taken against vehicles or individuals in connection with the two gatherings.
