Two Stone primary schools are welcoming families to open events this October, giving prospective parents and pupils the chance to visit classrooms and meet staff.
Pirehill First School, on Tilling Drive, will hold its open day on Thursday 15 October. St Dominic's Catholic Primary School, on Margaret Street, will follow with an open morning on Saturday 17 October.
Pirehill First School Open Day
Pirehill First School is offering three visiting times on 15 October: 9.30am, 2pm and 5pm. The school will showcase its recently refurbished learning environment, and visitors will be able to meet staff and learn more about the school.
An Ofsted inspection in June noted that pupils "arrive happily each day" at the school.
Visits must be booked in advance using the school's online booking form.
St Dominic's Catholic Primary School Open Morning
St Dominic's Catholic Primary School will welcome visitors on Saturday 17 October. Tours will begin at 9.30am and 10.30am. Families can explore classrooms, meet staff and learn about the school and its Catholic ethos.
