An abnormal load will pass through Stone on Saturday 15 August, beginning its journey at 8am from Stafford.
The load will join the A34 at Beaconside before heading north through Stone towards Trentham, where the driver is expected to take a break. It will then continue through Hanford and Trent Vale towards Newcastle under Lyme, around the ring road, and rejoin the A34 for the journey towards Congleton and Holmes Chapel.
Traffic arrangements
Police riders will accompany the movement and may introduce temporary traffic holds or diversions as it progresses. The load has a top speed of around 25 mph, so motorists travelling on the A34 should allow extra time if they encounter it.
Updates are expected to be provided as the movement progresses.
