FoodCoop has confirmed an opening date for its new store on Lichfield Road in Stone, ST15 8QU. The retailer will open the long-awaited location at the end of October 2026, located between the Three Crowns Pub and Watson's Scrap Yard.
The opening date finalises the timetable first reported in September, when FoodCoop confirmed the store was scheduled for the end of October. The store was originally targeting a summer 2026 launch before the date moved to late October.
Opening Day Offers
FoodCoop is running a Golden Ticket giveaway from 9am on opening day. The first 50 customers to join the Golden Ticket queue will receive a ticket with prizes including store vouchers worth up to £100, luxury hampers, and a £100 TravelCoop voucher.
In-store sampling will take place throughout the day, featuring pastries, wine, mince pies, and crisps.
Store Facilities
The new store will include food to go, an in-store bakery, customer toilets with baby changing facilities, and a bike repair station.
