Volunteers are being sought to help launch a free weekly junior parkrun in Stone later this year.
The planned 2km timed event would take place at 9am each Sunday and be open to children aged four to 14. Organisers are aiming to get the event under way in autumn 2026.
What is junior parkrun?
Junior parkrun events allow children to walk, jog or run the course. They are delivered by local volunteer teams.
Volunteer roles include marshalling, timekeeping, barcode scanning, handing out finish tokens and tail walking.
