Stone Town Council is hosting a free Summer Street Party featuring live music and a funfair in the town centre.
The event begins at 12.30pm on the High Street. Three tribute acts will perform throughout the afternoon: K Pop Demon Hunters at 12.45pm, contemporary covers band The Cartoon Kings at 2.10pm, and Beatles tribute act Imagine… The Beatles from around 3.50pm. Kath Stanway will compere the event and perform between the main acts. The street party is expected to finish around 5pm.
Warwick's funfair will operate in the Market Square and lower High Street during the event.
What to bring and where to eat
Visitors are encouraged to arrive around midday to find a suitable spot. Attendees can bring their own chairs and picnics. Food and refreshments will be available from cafes, pubs and restaurants along the High Street, as well as vendors selling hot food, ice cream and cakes.
What the council said
Councillor Jill Hood, chairman of Stone Town Council's Tourism and Town Promotion Sub Committee, said: "I am very pleased that the Council is again able to put on these very popular, free-to-attend events. The Summer Street Party is free to attend and open to everyone.
