A screening of the 1926 silent western 3 Bad Men will take place at Crown Wharf Theatre in Stone on Friday 25 September at 7.30pm, with live piano accompaniment performed by pianist Morley. The event forms part of the opening day of this year's Pocket Film Festival. Tickets cost £6.
About the Film
Directed by John Ford, 3 Bad Men stars George O'Brien and Olive Borden. The story follows three outlaws who protect a young woman and her fiancé during the violence surrounding a land rush in the Dakotas.
About the Pianist
Morley is a house pianist for the British Film Institute and has been performing improvised scores for silent films since 2016. She has appeared at international film festivals and recorded original scores for DVD releases, and is a regular performer at the Pocket Film Festival.
Venue and Duration
The screening will be held at Crown Wharf Theatre, A Crown Street, Stone, and is scheduled to finish at around 9.30pm.
